Mandi Phillips
Bio
Mandi Phillips earned her Masters of Arts in English Literature with an emphasis in creative writing at Northwest Missouri State University. Her poems and short stories were published in the arts magazine, Medium Weight Forks.
Always a daydreamer and romantic, she first discovered her love of crafting poems and fiction during graduate school where her professors helped her learn to thread her faith into prose. She is a follower of Jesus and an abiding student of the Bible which is always the under-current and life-blood of her YA Fantasy stories.
After teaching English Language Arts for seven years, she is now a homeschool mom married to her high-school sweetheart. Mandi is a sentimental homebody who loves dark chocolate, London Fog Lattes, reading classics, and wearing cozy cardigans.
She resides in a small town, straight out of a Hallmark movie, with her husband and little boy in their dream house that belonged to her grandparents.
